Project Responsibilities
Rebecca plays a key support role to the Project Manager within Tandem, and is directly involved in assisting with all aspects of procurement, technical specifications for costing and project budgets. Rebecca works closely with both clients, suppliers and the other internal members of the design and interpretive team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and budget. She is also responsible for keeping a record of all project and staff expenses. In addition, Rebecca contributes to the daily running of the studio, supporting the management of the office by overseeing day to day administration and helping to maintain the cash flow and accounting documents of the studio, such as quotations, invoicing and purchase orders.

Rebecca is responsible for working alongside the designers and interpretive team to identify and research images and illustrations for use in exhibition graphics. She works meticulously to secure image license contracts for all images and media used within our projects, and has developed excellent working relationships with a number of national image libraries and museums.

Relevant Experience
Rebecca joined the Tandem team in March 2013, coming from a background with extensive experience in managing, organising and curating contemporary art exhibitions for a number of local galleries. This included representing the galleries at London Art Fair, and SCOPE International Art Fair, New York. Her organisational skills have been put to use in a range of settings, the diversity of which make her an excellent asset to the Tandem management team. Her practical and academic experience in the cultural sector, locally and further afield, helps provide a unique insight into our clients requirements.

Professional Development
Rebecca has a passion for Art History, having studied the subject for many years, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her specialism lies in European Art from 1870 – 1914, which she teaches to Lifelong Learning Students at Queen’s University, Belfast. The classes focus on the development of art, architecture and interior design in Europe during this time.

Keen to continually develop her skills, Rebecca completed an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice through Parity with the University of Ulster during her first year at Tandem.
