New lease of life for US Rangers Museum

75th anniversary of formation of US Army Rangers unit in Carrickfergus

75 years after the original ‘Darby’s Rangers’ were founded, the only US Army unit to be formed on foreign soil, US soldiers, Army veterans and descendants of the original Rangers came together in Carrickfergus to celebrate the re-opening of this small but vital Museum.

After completing an Interpretive Framework in 2016, Tandem developed the new exhibition at the US Rangers Museum for Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.

We told the story of the soldiers’ bravery and dedication through dynamic graphic displays, artefact and uniform presentations, audio and film footage.
