2018 – A Year in Review
Dinosaurs vs Aliens
As we kick-start a new year, we can’t help but reflect on everything we managed to achieve in 2018. Some projects were completed and others just getting started – we crammed plenty into the past twelve months!
2018 saw us travel far and wide throughout the UK and Ireland. In the snowy months at the beginning of the year we headed as far north as the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. More recently we ventured west to County Mayo, where we’ve been exploring the incredible Neolithic history of Céide Fields!
In-between we’ve been developing scoping studies in Mid-Ulster, interpretation for drives through the Shannon region, an Orientation Strategy for Dublin and on-going projects that will take us through this year and maybe even beyond.
Some of our proudest moments happened right here on our doorstep!
Dippy on Tour
It’s not often a dinosaur comes to stay! When the Natural History Museum’s famous diplodocus cast headed to the Ulster Museum it was our job to help bring his story to life.
Grand Central
September saw the opening of Belfast’s newest (and tallest) hotel, the Grand Central. To tell the incredible story of Belfast, past and present, we looked to Pulitzer Prize
winner, Paul Muldoon for help.
St Patrick’s Cathedral
Shining a light on the Church of Ireland’s National
Cathedral with new visitor interpretation.
The Heritage Hub at Carnlough Town Hall
To showcase the significant heritage of the Antrim Coast and Glens, we developed a bespoke gateway hub to suit the town’s multi-purpose community space.
Royal Zoological Society of Scotland
Never work with children and animals they said…
but no one mentioned aliens.
